Mark Packer Radio Host, WFNZ
Mark Packer - better known as "The Packman" - has been a sports talk radio host on WFNZ since August of 1997. As host of "PrimeTime with the Packman", he has won numerous awards such as "Charlotte's Top Talk Show Host" along with the "Best Sports Radio Show" every year by Creative Loafing, the Charlotte Observer and Charlotte Magazine.
"PrimeTime with the Packman" was ranked #1 in the latest Arbitron Ratings in the coveted Men 25-54 demographic. In fact, Packman's show is the only sports talk show in Charlotte radio history to be ranked #1, and has been consistenly ranked in the Top 5 in the afternoon drive timeslot for the past 6 years.
In January of 2003, Packman signed a new 5-year, 7-figure, guaranteed contract with Infinity Broadcasting that makes him one of the highest-paid sports-talkers in the country, and it allowed him to control all of his radio syndication rights - in addition to his beloved creations of Southern Fried Football™ and his non-profit organization, JamPack.

Born in Chicago in 1947, John Galles was raised in the Midwest and attended Indiana University where he received a degree in Business. He graduated in 1969 and pursued a career in association management. For over twenty-five years, he served the non-profit community representing the interests of business for the Michigan Association of Realtors, the Small Business Association of Michigan, and National Small Business Association. For 10 years, he lobbied Congress, the White House and federal agencies on behalf of small business. In 1997, he worked with the Welfare to Work Partnership and recruited over 10,000 businesses to the initiative. Later that year, he was appointed to the Defense Department and worked as a Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Reserve Affairs promoting Employer Support of the National Guard and Reserves. Not one for the bureaucracy, John decided it was time to get back to the real world and started Greater Charlotte Biz magazine in Charlotte in the fall of 1999. He published the first issue in January 2000 and has been publishing for five years. His business-to-business magazine reaches over 20,000 business decision-makers each month at their desks in their offices. He is married and has one son.

Frank H. Gilmore is the Executive Director of the Charlotte Business Hub, Inc., (“Biz Hub”), a recently established nonprofit enterprise whose mission is to provide a centralized resource center for entrepreneurs to access business information and network for professional referrals, technical assistance, capital and business opportunities. Prior to assuming this position, Mr. Gilmore was the Director of Economic Development for a nonprofit community based organization in New York. He was responsible for strategic planning and the development of for-profit enterprises including writing business plans, preparing financial projections and loan structuring to attract funding for new and existing business ventures. Mr. Gilmore also brings more than ten years of commercial lending and business development experience to this position. He has developed and implemented joint lending programs with financial institutions and public agencies.
He has been a frequent speaker at seminars, workshops and conferences promoting economic development initiatives.
Mr. Gilmore received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Florida A & M University.
